where
meals were 'cheap' yet plentiful and the atmosphere buzzing,
to the
exotic and expensive restaurants in the city.

'Posh' fusion restaurant My Humble House @ Esplande
We had the "Someone is singing behind the mountain" menu
They frown upon many things, one being NO photography inside
BUT
everyone was, so.....
course # 3 - steamed cod
course 1 was gorgeous crispy crab meat cigar, and battered king
prawn
course 2 was shark fin and crab meat soup (no photos)
course #4 sauteed beef tenderloin
course #5 crispy scallop roulade
course #6 spicy meat ball and noodle soup
Great setting over looking the river/harbour
with River
festival fireworks reflecting on the buildings and river.
Slight downer overly attentive staff (brought the rich food too
quickly)
other clientele not abiding the dress code or behaving in a
respectable way
I expected more from such an expensive restaurant!
Happy Hour every night in the hotel Executive club lounge ;)
The
sushi, samosas and dim sum were lovely and the staff delightful
I shall
remember them for many years to come.
